Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Mask Review

Ruby, being totally Burts Bee’s obsessed, picked up this product and tried it out while having a girls day with her lovely Mom, I sat this one out. But guys, I’m super excited- Rubys vacay is OVER!! Shes probably less thrilled about leaving the Happiest Place on Earth, but I am glad she’s back. This mask came from Target, but as usual for those of you (who are like me and don’t wanna leave the house) here’s your Amazon link: Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Mask

First Impressions

Ruby – Y’all, I think Burt was singing my name when he started this company. Again, I was looking forward to trying this product. I use the clary sage essential oil and love it so I was excited to see that was in this too.

Ruby – The smell of the clary sage as soon as I opened the bottle made me breath in deep and made me smile. The mask is thick, application was easy, and washed off my fingers easily.

Wait time

Ruby – It was easy to wait. I watched (and made fun of some House Hunters. 🙂

Ruby – This is the hang up on this mask for me. The directions say to use a tissue to rub off the excess of the mask and then rub in the extra. It was hard to get the mask off well and not feel greasy. I ended up getting a washcloth wet and wiping down my face to not feel icky.

Ruby – I think the best use for this mask would be after you have used a harsh mask that is pulling all the ick out of yo-face. It would condition well after that situation. I wouldn’t use it again on it’s own.
