Weleda Skin Food Review

Missy came upon this godsend of a beauty product in a Whole Foods beauty bag and we are converts! Weleda Skin Food is the “ultimate moisturizer for dry, rough skin” according to Weleda and we can’t help but agree with them!

First Impressions

Ruby – Honestly, I don’t love the packaging. It’s a little boring. Especially at the price point of $9.40 for 2.5 oz.

Missy – I actually love the packaging, it falls under “less is more” to me.  When I first pulled this out of the Whole Foods yearly beauty bag, I didn’t need to read up on it to know exactly what it was going to do.

Application

Ruby – Okay, the price point makes a little more sense now. It is SOO smooth and it smells great!

Missy – Its so smooth, and makes my skin amazingly smooth.  The “less is more” idea continues into its application, as a tiny bit is all you need for super soft, nourished skin.  Seriously, you can apply to one hand and not the other and you will see and amazing and immediate difference.

Conclusions

Ruby – It’s like you have met the perfect milk to cereal ratio in the morning. My skin is not greasy but soft and moisturized. #WinnerWinner

Missy – I have a hard time with most lotions, as I absolutely hate the greasy feeling you get from most.  This lotion rubs right it, like your skin is really “eating” it up (see-what I did there.. Skin FOOD.)  I got a sample size in my Whole Foods beauty bag months ago that still has some left, but have already purchased the full size, because I never want to run out.  30 years of life, and I have finally found the perfect body lotion.
